FLASH NO 1
Today, lenders started accepting applications for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) for independent contractors and the self-employed.
Many banks are struggling to handle the number of requests and are prioritizing existing customers. We urge you to reach out to your banks as soon as possible so you can submit your application quickly.
We recommend that you first reach out to the bank that pays out your business’s payroll. Check your existing bank's website to see if they have the application available. If it is not obvious, call or email them to see if they are an approved lender for the Paycheck Protection Program.
If your bank is not authorized, you can find an eligible lender here.

FLASH NO 2
(Difficulties with PPP suggest that you may need a back-up plan so the State of Colorado has prepared a Google Sheet with additional resources. Information is fluid so return regularly for updates.)
This Google sheet helps Colorado’s small businesses find alternative funding sources beyond EIDL, PPP, and other federal loans and programs.
Please note that this Google sheet is 'live', so you may see changes as we make real-time updates.
If you come across any resources that are no longer active, please email OEDIT at oedit_sbnavigator@state.co.us.
